The policy below describes site-specific practices and does not supersede the parent-organization policy.
Sunseating is a wellness practice, not a medical treatment. By purchasing our products or attending an in-person initiation, you acknowledge that you are entering the practice voluntarily, in good health, and with reasonable awareness that the receptive aperture is sensitive to ultraviolet radiation. We strongly recommend Solar Aperture Crème SPF 50 for all practitioners. We do not strongly recommend much else.
Most products may be returned in unopened condition within thirty days of receipt. The Sacred Spreader is the exception. Each Spreader is hand-blessed, hand-cast in the founder's exact hand-shape, and ceremonially imbued prior to shipment. Once imbued, a Spreader cannot be reabsorbed into the brand's energetic stock. The Sacred Spreader is non-returnable. This is a feature, not a policy gap.
Membership in the Sunseat Journey program renews automatically at each Solstice and Equinox (four times annually). You may cancel by mail, in writing, on parchment, during a waning moon. Electronic cancellation is not currently supported. We are exploring it.
Initiations are led personally by Hagatha. Practitioners are expected to follow her instructions without delay or modification. Physical correction may occur and is part of the teaching tradition. By attending an initiation, you accept the teaching tradition in full. You may not record, photograph, or describe initiations publicly. We will know if you do.
Sunburns, blistering, swelling, or other discomforts of your butthole are the practitioner's own responsibility. We strongly recommend Solar Aperture Crème SPF 50, frequent reapplication, and adherence to the prescribed twenty-minute window. We will provide Post-Bloom Recovery Balm at our discretion. We will not provide reimbursement.
All disputes between Sunseat and its practitioners are resolved at the next quarterly Solstice Council, an in-person convening of senior practitioners chaired by the founder. The Council's decisions are binding, oral, and not transcribed. By purchasing our products you waive any right to a recorded forum.
