Sunseat is a holding of Specific Industries. The authoritative privacy policy governing the collection, processing, and retention of all practitioner data is published at specificindustries.com/privacy. The policy below describes site-specific practices and does not supersede the parent-organization policy.
We collect information you provide voluntarily through our intake form, your purchase history, your responses to our quarterly Wellness Resonance Survey, and any photographic submissions you choose to share with our practitioner network. We do not collect biometric data from your butthole. We have considered it. We have decided against it.
Like most websites, we use cookies to remember your cushion firmness preference, your geographic time zone (for sunrise calculation), and your last-viewed product. Solar Resonance Preferences expire 365 days from your last visit, or upon the next equinox, whichever comes first.
Once you complete the certification process, we maintain a Practitioner Profile that includes your name, geographic region, certification class, and any documented adjustments performed by Hagatha during in-person training. We use this information to recommend products, schedule continuing education, and (in rare cases) reach out for testimonial use. You may request a copy of your Profile at any time. The request will be processed within fourteen sunrises.
Within our network of certified practitioners, we share aggregated, anonymized practice metrics: average session length, regional preference for cushion firmness, and trends in product reorder cadence. We do not share your name, location, or photographic submissions with third parties. We have been asked. We have declined.
You may request that all Sunseat-held data associated with your Practitioner Profile be permanently erased. The request must be submitted in writing during a waxing moon. Erasure is performed during the next full moon following submission. Once your sunrise is erased, it cannot be restored. We will not attempt to convince you otherwise.
Sunseat is intended exclusively for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Practitioners must self-attest to adulthood prior to certification. The practice is not appropriate for minors and would not work on them anyway.
