The Bloom Cushion

The Bloom Cushion

Ergonomic kneeling support for the receptive posture.

$72

Hagatha Cudgelflower spent the first eighteen months of her Sunseat practice kneeling on folded towels and repurposed yoga blankets, accumulating the shin bruises and lower-back aches she describes in the Second Chapter of her recorded teachings. The Bloom Cushion was born from that discomfort — a purpose-built ergonomic kneeling pad engineered to hold the body in the full receptive posture for extended solar sessions without strain to the knees, shins, or lumbar region. She began development in Sedona in 2017.

The Bloom Cushion is constructed from a three-layer core of high-density memory foam and open-cell latex, wrapped in a removable, machine-washable cover of unbleached organic cotton. Its sculpted forward edge angles the pelvis into the precise forward tilt that Hagatha describes in Step Two of the Sunseat Ritual, allowing your butthole to remain fully oriented toward the solar source without muscular effort. The geometry was refined over two years of posture testing before the cushion reached its current form.

At sixteen by twenty-two inches, the Bloom Cushion is generously sized for outdoor sessions lasting up to ninety minutes without repositioning. It ships with a carrying strap in natural cotton webbing and stores flat under a standard bed or rolled in a tote alongside the Sacred Gap Robe. The Solstice Council rates it as the single most impactful equipment addition for practitioners who report fatigue or knee discomfort — and Hagatha considers it non-negotiable for anyone with more than two weeks of regular practice.
